Hi! I’m Beth, and it’s been a while now, or perhaps it’s been since “never”, that I’ve introduced myself to you. I think it’s about time, don’t you?
I started this blog, @ Simplyhomebybeth, about three years ago, wanting to share my loves with others, the love of creating home, the love of family, good food for those I love around my table, for every day and every holiday.
I’ve been working on fixing and flipping houses for years; simply as a way to afford the next house, and the next, then eventually the home of our dreams. I’m still fixing, but no longer flipping for profit. The love of the Before and After’s, have defined my personality from the time I was a preschooler, I have been fascinated with transformations, that only occurred after I’ve Made Them Happen. I love a storied home, where every corner has lived a life of its own. I love transforming a cold block of a room into a warm and inviting home, it never gets old. House to Home creation is where my Joy is found, and what occupies my mind about 97% of each day!
