Hi! I’m Beth!
I wanted to introduce myself and to share a few things that I LOVE, and why I’m here, at Simplyhomebybeth.com.
Simply put, I have a love for the “old and pretty”, old houses, vintage wares and handmade primitive goods. I love Architecture, the angles, the materials chosen, the history behind the designs, all of it. I’ve loved English Country decorating for years, and I’m thrilled that the joyous use of color, mixing materials and patterns both are coming back into style. I love hanging wallpaper, I consider it “art” on the wall!
This is the tip of the iceberg friend, believe me.
I do love working with my hands, don’t you? From gardening, planting and pruning, painting, sewing, wallpapering, crafting, you name it, it feels good to “create”, to watch an idea turn into a physical product.
That’s a bit about me…. here’s the rest.
More than anything else, I am a believer and follower of my Savior.
My faith guides and comforts me, my family sustains and supports me, and my husband, children and grandchildren bring so much joy to my life, and I truly, also, love people. That’s where you come in. I genuinely enjoy writing, photographing, creating, and sharing my life, and its stories with You!
I’m old enough to have learned a few things along the way, which I’ll share. Tips and tricks and how-to’s, or lessons I’ve learned the hard way, and the “what NOT to do’s” that go along with it….
